Pickup Mods & Hardware Updates - 2023
I updated my Epiphone Les Paul Custom with upgraded pickups, electronics modifications and hardware upgrades.
The pickups were replaced with Seymour Duncan Whole Lotta Humbuckers with Triple Shot mounting rings for single coil and series/parallel humbucker sounds and the Tone knobs were upgraded to Push/Pull Pots for two tone sweeps per pickup. The Neck pup has .22 and .015 NOS Vitamin Q capacitors while the Bridge has .022 and .047 NOS Vitamin Q capacitors.
The bridge was upgraded to a Nashville Tune-o-Matic. The knobs were changed to Gold on Black top hat knobs with Gold indicator washers. The switch was upgraded to a Switchcraft all metal switch, Finally, the tuners were upgraded to Grover Milk Bottle 18:1 rotomatics.
