Simply Subtle formed in Washington, DC in 2012 and played throughout the area until 2016. Simply Subtle was unique in that it had 2 front-men who each took the band in a different direction to create an immersive and energetic live experience. Two albums were recorded by the group, which consisted of Chris Ingham and James Kirby on Vocals and Guitar, Steve Clark on Bass and Backing Vocals, and Steve Hauenstein on Percussion.
